Our teaching of landscape design derives from the classes Keith Davitt has taught at such venerable institutions as the Harvard Arboretum, The Olbrich Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The Denver Botanic Garden, The Morton Arboretum and other notable organizations, from the extensive academic education Robin Ginac received in Harvard's School of Landscape Architecture and from the years of hands-on experience both have achieved throughout America and abroad.

Both the studio and online courses are built upon the principles and practices we have found to be essential to the creation of beautiful gardens and are designed for all levels of the profession. Generally, those who come to the Cambridge School of Landscape Design are already in the profession and wish to develop and enhance their design ability. To receive the greatest benefit from this course it is best, though not necessary, to already have some drafting and design experience when joining us in the studio.   Nevertheless, beginners are welcome and will receive a thorough and elevating education in landscape design.

Our Online Landscape Design courses include the most basic lessons in drafting, site analysis and client comprehension. Subsequent lessons delineate the principles of landscape design and their application in the creation of beautiful gardens, working with real-life projects of the students' choosing.
