WHO ARE THESE CLASSES FOR?
Since offering out studio-based, Landscape Design School, many people have contacted us, wishing to take the course but unable to find the time to come to Cambridge or simply unable to attend for other reasons. These courses are in response to that, offering the best of our school for the lowest possible cost. It is geared to all levels of the profession from the beginning designer to the practicing professional. All are welcome.
WHEN?
These classes are ongoing. You may begin any module anytime and finish any time though we encourage you to move at a comfortable, steady pace. The primary course, Module 1 is essentially what we teach in our home studio. (To see the course outline, click here.) We recommend the primary course (Module 1) to anyone who wishes to elevate her or his design ability.
WHERE?
You take these classes from the comfort of your home. We communicate by email and if you like by post.
HOW DO THEY WORK?
When you sign up for a module we give you a password in order to access the downloadable materials. You send your completed assignments at your convenience. As you complete the assignments we send you access to the next several lessons and so on. You are invited to contact us anytime with any questions. We can work with your projects, with ours or both.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
This is up to you. We always urge students to complete assignments in a slow but steadily progressive manner so as to take time to master the material and to keep the momentum and allow the various lessons to merge in your mind. You can however, take as long or short as you like.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Each module has a separate cost with discounts for two or more modules. Click here to see the modules and their costs. Let us know which modules you are interested in and we will give you the discounted price. Payment plans are available.
WHAT WILL I GAIN?
The ability to design and build landscapes well beyond what most designers are doing. You will develop and refine your talents through an objective approach that can only help you to become a better designer. Each course is geared to the individual and designed to challenge you - to help you overcome limitations and develop strengths. Once a module is completed you are welcome to contact me for assistance on three projects for one year at no additional charge.
